The pub is named after Admiral Brooke's ship, which saw action against the Americans in the early 19th century. Sport TV and occasional live music. Dogs are welcome in the bar area. Monday is home-made burger & beer night, Wednesday is curry night.

Sadly, it was announced in April 2026 that the current tenants will be departing in August 2026.
