This is a ground floor bar and first floor restaurant, but classified by CAMRA as a pub as drinks may be purchased at the bar without a meal.

It was reopened at the start of May 2026 (after a period of closure) by the team behind the nearby Lord Nelson pub. There is no cask ale. Several keg beers from the Tiny Town Beer Co (which is owned by the operators and based in Manningtree) are usually available.

This bar/restaurant is set within a historic building and located in the centre of the regenerated historic wet dock.
