This is a modern public bar above the Briarbank brewery. The entrance is to the rear, accessed from the yard. The bar comprises a nicely furnished single room with a mixture of raised seating, comfortable bench seating and chairs around several wooden tables. The counter incorporates some barrels into its design and offers a range of up to three of Briarbank's own cask beers and some keg beers. Live music (usually Jazz) has been a regular event on on the third Sunday of each month. A second bar was previously occasionally used in a small marquee in the adjoining yard during fine weather and/or events, but has recently been removed (as at January 2026). The future of the marquee (and related music events) is to be clarified. Two beer festivals have been organised annually - one at Easter the other in late August. Card only payments I.e. no cash is taken at the bar.
